About our Past Cut-Off-Points (COP)

About our PLMGS Affiliation Priority

Students of PLMGS(Pri) who want to continue education in PLMGS(Sec) must:

  1. meet the minimum affiliate cut-off-point and

  2. indicate PLMGS(Sec) as their 1st choice.

This gives PL (Pri) students priority for admission to PL (Sec). However, this priority for admission to PL (Sec) does not guarantee admission, as it is subject to the availability of places.

Starting from the 2019 Sec 1 posting, 20% of the S1 places in each course (i.e. Express/N(A)/N(T)) will be reserved for students who do not benefit from affiliation priority, to ensure a minimum level of access for non-affiliates in affiliated secondary schools.

About our Teaching and Learning

Please visit: https://www.plmgss.moe.edu.sg/instructional-programmes/ip-overview

We recognise that students have different learning styles, interests and needs. Hence, our teachers provide different learning experiences and programmes to engage our students.

For example, students have the opportunities to engage in class discussions and project work with their classmates, conduct research work with mentoring from experts or their seniors. Learning journeys are organised for our students to vide them with the experiential learning.

There are readily available teaching & learning resources for students - via Student Learning Space (SLS), Google Classroom, Gmail, individual subject portal etc.
