What is a Polytechnic Education?
A polytechnic education gives you hands-on experience within a dynamic and progressive learning environment.
One of the features of polytechnic education is the strong emphasis on practice-based learning. Work attachments with industry partners are part of the curriculum. These work attachments provide valuable on-the-job experience and opportunities to work with industry experts.
In addition to academic knowledge, the Polytechnics also emphasize the acquisition of life skills of communication and presentation as well as problem-solving.

There are two ways to be admitted into a Polytechnic: either through the traditional Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) route or through the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE).
