The secondary one ExCite programme is in conjunction with the Geography unit of the Department of Humanities. It uses teachers as facilitators of learning, to guide the learning process of students across disciplines and promote a learning environment of inquiry.
The objectives of the programme are:
To engage students in the experiential learning of Science concepts related to the topic of Human Sexual Reproduction.
To give students the opportunity to explore a career in the field of Health Sciences.
This learning journey aims to:
Help our students gain a greater understanding of the human body
Expose our students to the specimens in NUS museum which are arranged according to systems of the human body, to aid their understanding of the subject
