For Gap Exploration Month 2025, you have the opportunity to engage in one or more projects of your choice.
We offer six categories to help guide your selection: Explore, Enhance, Enrich, Empower, Experiment, and Evoke.
You have the flexibility to choose projects that fit into one or more of the six E categories. You must select a minimum of 2 E categories and a maximum of 3 E categories that best align with your goals and interests.
Feel free to select projects that overlap across categories. For example, an internship could fall under Explore or it might align with both Explore and Empower, while starting an online business could fall under Experiment and Enhance.
You can do up to 3E categories to create a unique and fulfilling experience that’s personally meaningful to you and ideally inspire positive change within the community, or at least have the potential to do so.
Before beginning GAP Month, all proposed projects need school approval. Ensure you put effort and thought into your choice/s of category/categories; all choices must be clearly justified.
While the school can provide some opportunities, they are limited. We encourage you to use your personal network to secure your own projects. Final confirmation is not needed immediately, but it should be in place by the start of next year.
Please submit your proposal form latest by Friday, 22nd November, to submit your plans for GAP Month 2025. The earlier you apply for opportunities and confirm them, the earlier you will be able to submit your proposal form and get confirmation.
The GAP Month Committee will review submissions and provide approvals (or feedback) by Friday, 29th November. If you don’t receive a response by then, please follow up with your Form Teacher. Students without a confirmed project will be required to return to school for self-study for the whole of Jan 2025.
