Game Module 1 is the first of the game modules each YIJC student will participate in during PE lessons. While advocating the Olympic values of Friendship, Excellence and Respect, YIJC students are also expected to demonstrate the HICAPE values in GM1. GM1 also sets out to allow students to explore the different categories of sports and games.
The module aims to provide students an authentic learning experience in the affective, cognitive and social domains. The module objectives will include:
To display and promote the Olympic values (Friendship, Respect and Excellence) and college values of HICAPE - Humanity, Integrity, Compassion, Agility and Pursuit of Excellence.
To understand and apply the taught game categories (Territorial-Invasion, Net-Barrier, Striking-Fielding and Target) through participation in engaging tasks and activities in small group settings that promote active learning and interactions among participants.

All gm 1 lessons will be conducted on tuesdays except for PE group 3 which is to be conducted on Fridays 8.15am.
All lessons will end with an exit pass on Google Classroom. Students are required to complete the exit pass by the end of the lesson.
