At Fuchun Primary, we believe in building strong foundations through a holistic and child-centred approach. Our Primary 1 curriculum supports the development of essential academic skills, character values, and social-emotional confidence in every student.
Below is an overview of what your child will experience in Primary 1:
Students develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a variety of engaging activities.
We use shared reading, storytelling, language games and drama to strengthen language use and build a love for reading.
Our Math programme focuses on building conceptual understanding and confidence with numbers.
We use concrete materials, pictorial representations, and real-world examples to help students learn addition, subtraction, shapes, patterns and more.
Students will learn Chinese, Malay or Tamil in a fun and interactive way, with strong focus on listening and speaking at the lower primary level.
Activities include songs, games, role-play and storytelling, helping children express themselves confidently in their MTL.
PAL provides meaningful learning experiences in two domains: Sports & Games and Visual or Performing Arts.
Through PAL, students learn to collaborate, communicate and build self-confidence in a fun, non-academic setting.
Our teachers design age-appropriate activities to spark curiosity and joy in learning.
Students explore, investigate and reflect through hands-on tasks in subjects like Art, Music and CCE.
