Sec 1 Orientation & CCA Fair
We are delighted to welcome our new Secondary 1 SJCians to an engaging two-day Orientation Programme on Friday, 2 January and Monday, 5 January 2026.
The Orientation Programme offers an excellent opportunity for your daughter to familiarise herself with our school, forge new friendships and build a spirit of collaboration through a variety of team-building activities thoughtfully planned by our student leaders. During these two days, your daughter will also have the chance to get acquainted with her Form Teachers, who will be guiding and supporting her throughout the academic year.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) are a key component of students’ holistic education and is compulsory for all secondary school students. Through CCAs, students discover their interests and talents. They provide platforms for students to develop their character, learn values, social-emotional competencies and other relevant skills to prepare them for future challenges. To support your daughter in choosing her CCA, there will be a CCA Fair on Tuesday, 6 January 2026 (3.30pm to 5.30pm). During the fair, your daughter will be introduced to the diverse range of Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) available at SJC, and gain insights to help her make an informed choice. More details will be shared later.
During the first 3 days of school, dismissal times will be as follows:
Friday, 2 January: 12.30pm
Monday, 5 January: 12.30pm
Tuesday, 6 January: 5.30pm
Lessons will commence on Tuesday, 6 January 2026. The timetable will be available at a later date on the school website here.
We look forward to your partnership and support as we embark on this exciting journey with your daughter.
Dropping off / Picking up Your Daughter

We seek your cooperation to:
use the designated drop-off points in front of the foyer when driving your daughter to school (refer to the map below);
adhere to traffic rules and instructions given by our security guards or staff on duty;
arrive as close to your arranged pick-up time as possible, to reduce unnecessary waiting along the road.
refrain from dropping off and picking up your daughter/ward along the road outside the school to prevent obstruction and delays for other vehicles;
Use nearby HDB carparks as alternative drop-off / pick-up points (refer to the map below):
