Purchase of Books and Uniforms
Online Purchase of Books and Uniforms
Online purchases of books and uniforms with self-collection are strongly encouraged. Should you prefer to do self-collection of books and/or uniforms in school, you are encouraged to book an appointment time to collect the purchases in school to reduce waiting time. Please refer to the following information sheet for details on uniform purchase and the Sec 1 booklist attached here for more information on book purchase.

Walk-in Purchase of Books and Uniforms
If you prefer to do a walk-in purchase of books and uniforms, please enter the school via the main gate and register at the security guard post. Please make alternative arrangements to collect your purchases if you are feeling unwell. You may refer to the dates and timings below for walk-in purchases and/or self-collection of books and uniforms in school during the December break:
Walk-in Purchase (Books): 19 Dec to 31 Dec 2025
Operating Hours (Books): Monday - Friday (9.00am - 3.00pm), Eve of Public Holiday (9.00am - 12.00pm)
Walk-in Purchase (Uniforms): 19 Dec, 22 Dec, 23 Dec, 26 Dec, 29 Dec, 30 Dec (9.00am - 3.00pm)
Additional Notes:
Purchase of books for subjects at a More / Less demanding level (MDL/LDL) can be made upon confirmation of the offers and when school reopens at the school bookstore.

Should you make a wrong purchase, you may approach the bookshop or the uniform supplier to seek an exchange. Kindly note that the books and uniforms have to be returned in their original condition. Books should not be wrapped and written on. Uniforms should not be worn or washed.
Students may still purchase school uniforms during the first two weeks of school in school.
More details on the ordering and purchase of permanent nametags will be shared during the first week of school. Permanent nametags can be purchased at $3 for a set of two pieces.
MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS)
Parents/ Guardians who would like to apply for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) can apply online here.

Please note the following points:
Please submit your completed e-application and all required supporting documents by Friday 26 December 2025, 12.00pm if you would like to be considered for financial assistance under MOE FAS for the full year from January to December 2026.
Our General Office staff will contact the successful applicants.
Kindly do not purchase any books and uniforms if you are applying for 2026 Financial Assistance Schemes (FAS). We will not be able to reimburse any purchases made and fees paid by parents before the approval of financial assistance for your daughter/ward.

Appeal for School Transfer
a. Appeal to transfer out of SJC based on serious medical conditions
For appeals due to serious medical conditions or severe physical impairments, please apply at SJC in person and note the following points:
All appeals must be submitted by Monday, 22 December 2025, 12.00pm.
All appeals must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents, such as medical reports and letters from doctors.
The appeal results will be released by early January. However, submitting an appeal does not guarantee school transfer will be acceded.
Students seeking transfers should continue to attend school at SJC.

b. Appeal to transfer into SJC
If you are seeking a transfer to SJC, you may click here to submit an appeal.
Kindly note the following points:
Appeals to transfer into SJC must be submitted by Wednesday, 24 December 2025, 10.00am.
Your daughter's PSLE score must meet SJC's cut-off point of the posting year.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Transfers are subject to available vacancies and the school's admission criteria.
We seek your understanding that only successful candidates will be notified by the school. The application is deemed to be unsuccessful if you do not hear from the school by Friday, 2 January 2026.
