What comes into your mind as you think about 'Cedar'? Our Cedar Tree is a classic symbol and a metaphor of growth. At the start of 2022, each class was invited to create a Cedar Tree to represent their class identity. Together with our staff's paintings, we become One Cedar Family in our wall of trees.
Remembering Our Past
To mark this joyous occasion, the school embarked on a journey to revamp some parts of our school. Changes were made to the Level 1 and 2 common areas outside the General Office. These are familiar passageways that all must pass through when we make our way into the school. Hence, having a refreshed look in these areas helps everyone to be mindful that Cedar takes pride in our 65 years of tradition and looks forward to an even more exciting future ahead!

Guided by our school motto, Honesty, Perseverance and Courtesy, we envision our Cedarians to become Women of Character and Wisdom.
The revamped feature wall shows off part of an iconic Cedar Forever photograph taken in 2016 at the Cedar Athletic Centre. This photo was taken the year before the land was returned to the government in 2017 for the development of the Bidadari Estate. Also showcased here are two school models marking the two times the school underwent major redevelopment.

We welcome our next chapter with a refreshed design for our PE attire and school library.
A new PE Attire
A new PE Attire
The iconic Cedar PE T-shirt has a face-lift. Building on feedback and ideas submitted by the students, the classic PE T-shirt has been updated with a new fabric and two new designs, while keeping to our school's colour scheme of gold and blue. The timeless round neck design is back, in line with preferences expressed by Cedarians. We have also introduced a more formal polo-tee style design to increase the versatility of the attire. The school's motto of Honesty, Perseverance and Courtesy is featured at the back of both designs to emphasize the importance of anchoring on our motto as we embark on our next chapter.

Our Library of the Future
The revamped Cedar Library (also fondly known as the 'Word Space') is a social innovation project between our Humanities Special Programme students, MOE and NIE. It was conceptualized using the Design Thinking Framework, taking into consideration students' feedback and research. The library's improved features include the flexible use of the library spaces. New features include an event space, sound-proof pods for discussion and revamped study areas. The reimagined library promises to be the next exciting learning space for Cedarians.
