To be eligible for admission into a polytechnic course, you must meet these 2 criteria:
Your ELR2B2 net aggregate score must not exceed 22. The exception is the Diploma in Nursing, whereby your ELR2B2-C net aggregate score must not exceed 24.
Meet the minimum entry requirements (MER) of the course that you are applying for. Find out the MER of specific courses on CourseFinder or refer to this document for the consolidated MER of all courses.
From 2028 onwards (applicable for the current Sec 2 batch), students will be able to offer one of the B2 at G2 level.
Thus, the minimal number of subjects required for Polytechnic entry at Year 1 will be 4 G3 and 1 G2.
