Tips to draw biological specimens
a. Use a sharp 2B pencil
b. Diagram should be more than 3/4 of the space.
c. Draw the outline and details of the plant specimen
d. No sketching and shading of the diagram. There should be clear lines, not broken lines.
e. Measurement: Include the arrow and the dotted line (using a ruler and pencil); add in the measurement in mm
f. Label: Draw lines using pencil and ruler, label using pencil on one side of the diagram. Ensure labels do no cross and are at the same angle.
g. Magnification = Length of drawing (mm) / length of actual specimen (mm)

Note: Look at the question carefully. They usually require student to draw only 1 cell.
