28th Annual World Children's Picture Contest

The 28th edition of the Annual World Children’s Picture Contest is a drawing contest organised by the Japan Agricultural Co-operative to promote the exchange of experience and expression between children all over the world. Last year, our students participated in this competition by completing an artwork on their own. We were heartened to learn that our school had received one bronze award and five honorable mentions for the students who showed creativity and good use of artistic techniques in their artwork. In recognition of their artistic talent shown through this competition, our school presented the six winners with a prize and a certificate awarded from the organisers of the Annual World Children’s Picture Contest.

Once again, we would like to congratulate all winners on their achievements!

Our Schools, Our Stories' (OSOS) Photo & Video Contest 2022

This year, the OSOS organizing committee received over 2,501 entries from 261 schools – the highest record of entries to date for ‘Our Schools, Our Stories’ (OSOS) Photo & Video Contest. We are delighted to inform you that our school's entry Together We Can Show Love to Our Community and Environment has won the Honorable Mention Award under the MOE STAFF - Our School Community theme. Click here to view our winning entry photos on exhibition.

Through our school’s Art & Crafts Club partnership with Toa Payoh East Community Club, our members learned from the volunteers about how recycling can help to protect our environment. They also enjoyed learning about how they can repurpose plastic bags meaningfully for a good cause by turning these bags into flower craftwork to present it to their loved ones as a form of appreciation for the care that they have received. This partnership allowed our students to forge greater bonds with the community and allowed them to put their craftwork skills to good use."
