What is ITE EAE?
An aptitude-based admissions exercise that allows students to apply for and receive conditional offers for admission to ITE prior to receiving their final grades
It allows ITE greater flexibility to select and admit students based on their aptitudes and interests, apart from academic grades, thus allowing a wider range of talents to be recognised.

Meet the Minimum Entry Requirements (MERs) for the course you have been offered under ITE-EAE
The MERs for each course can be found on ITE website, JIE Booklet, JIE ‘O’ Booklet (for Higher Nitec Courses for ‘O’ Level students)

If the student has the conditional offer, he/she must indicate acceptance of the posting latest by the deadline via the ITE portal
If the student changes his/her mind after accepting the posting, he/she must withdraw by submitting online at the portal latest by the withdrawal deadline
Commitment to acceptance of offer for O Level students
Students who have accepted an ITE EAE offer and meet the MER are deemed to be admitted into the school and not allowed to participate in JAE after GCE ‘O’ Results
However, should the student qualifies to study at the polytechnics or JC/MI, he/she may appeal to the institutions directly
Commitment to acceptance of offer for NA Level students
Students who have accepted an ITE EAE offer and meet the MER are deemed to be admitted into the school and not allowed to participate in JIE after GCE ‘N’ Results.
However, should the Sec 4N(A) student who are DPP/PFP-eligible, they will be allowed to apply for DPP/PFP.
Should the student accept a place via DPP or PFP, the student can apply to withdraw from the ITE EAE offer.

Students who have accepted an ITE EAE offer and meet the MER are deemed to be admitted into the school and not allowed to participate in JIE after GCE ‘N’ Results.
