1) Can I submit my runs using such tracking devices below?
Answer: Please note that distance trackers such as the ones above may have been recording your distance since the moment you wear them. If you plan to run using such trackers, you must take note of the distance that you have already covered before starting your run. Afterwards, you may track your distance covered during your run and record your timing. It is best that you use another tracking device.
2) Can I choose to walk instead of run? 😊
Answer: We highly encourage students to run AT THEIR OWN PACE and COMFORT. You can take breaks in between your runs but do remember to PAUSE or END your tracking device. It is perfectly alright to restart the device again as the distance can still be accumulated and the timing will be a more accurate reflection of your activity.
3) Why are my runs not being recorded or reflected in the Scoreboard?
Answer: Your submission may be incomplete or more clarifications are needed to verify your run. We examine every submission carefully to ensure that students uphold integrity in their submissions. If we find that your timing is inconsistent and dubious, we will not update the scoreboard.
4) What Running apps can I use?
Answer: Runkeeper, Nike Run Club, Strava, Adidas Running, Pacer, Map My Run etc.
