In order to prepare well for National Examination, planning starts now. Every term, we will take time to review on our plan.
Use the time now to do the following:

Make sure you know what you will be tested on for your National Examination. Click on the link to find the syllabus for your subjects.
For 4E5N
**Note: 5N students to take note of the syllabus
For 4NA
**Note: students taking SBB (express) subjects, to refer to 'O' Level (2025)
For 4NT

List down the topics tested for each subject.
Identify your strong and weak topics.
Start working on your weak topics. (yes, start with the difficult topics)
Practice, practice, practice.
Plan out a schedule to ensure you complete your Topical TYS for all subjects (at least for the topics tested) by end of June.
Plan out a schedule to ensure you complete your Yearly TYS for all subjects before prelims.
You need to know how much time you have left towards National Exam.
You can find templates for monthly and weekly planner. You can also search online for similar planners that you can use.

Use a Monthly planner to plan your revision to gives you a quick overview of what you need to do, so that you keep to the deadlines.
The important dates have been keyed in for you.
Weekly planners are useful for you to plan out your week, especially when there is many tasks and events.
Tip: Do it every Sunday, look at your monthly planner, list down the revision you should complete by the week.
In order to help yourself manage the use of your devices, you need to
first identify what distracts you when you are on your device. (game? IG? TikTok? YouTube?)
Next devise a plan.
Set a goal for yourself i.e. to focus for 30 min to do my work
Set a reward/ punishment for your goal. For example, a reward can be, after I am done with my work after 30 min, I can watch the YouTube for 15 min. a punishment can be, if I do not finish my work, I cannot use my device.
Set a timer to remind yourself to go back to your work.
