SCENARIO:
Joy is a student in Sec 2.
She has been feeling tired and distracted lately as she has been sleeping late ever since she received her Personal Learning Device (PLD) last year. Most of the time, she uses the device for her homework, but she tends to multitask and get distracted surfing the internet or YouTube until late at night. So, she ended up finishing her homework at 1am.

In order to help yourself manage the use of your devices, you need to
first identify what distracts you when you are on your device. (game? IG? TikTok? YouTube?)
Next device a plan.
Set a goal for yourself i.e. to focus for 30 min to do my work
Set a reward/ punishment for your goal. For example, a reward can be, after I am done with my work after 30 min, I can watch the YouTube for 15 min. a punishment can be, if I do not finish my work, I cannot use my device.
Set a timer to remind yourself to go back to your work.
