Parts Of The Full Uniform:


Head Dress


Beret

  • Free of excess cotton fluff (shave if necessary)

  • Navy Blue in colour

  • Black string at the back to be tucked in neatly

  • Properly and correctly seasoned

  • Silver Aluminium NPCC Crest

  • Crest above left eye when worn


Top


Shirt

  • Fitting and not loose (alter if necessary)

  • All buttons pointed downwards

  • No loose threads or creases

  • Seam lines at shoulder should be resting on shoulder blades

  • Shirt to be tucked in

  • Collar to be standing upright (STRICTLY NO STARCHING)

  • Rank epaulettes to be ironed

  • Sleeve iron lines to start directly from the back of shoulder lapels

  • Distinct and no multiple iron lines

  • Name tag to be centralised on right portion of shirt, 1cm above right breast pocket

  • Badges not to be rusty

  • Badge arrangement for respective levels are displayed below



Belt

  • Must go through all loops of trousers, starting from left side of trousers

  • Belt loop to be placed 2 fingers away from end of belt

  • Belt buckle to be aligned to be aligned with buttons and zipper (3 point contact)

  • Must not be wrinkled and worn out


Bottom


Trousers

  • No loose threads or creases

  • To be worn at waist, not hips

  • Length of trousers should not touch over 3rd set of bootlace

  • Iron lines at the front should start at the 2 belt loops closest to zipper

  • Iron lines at the back to converge at the centre to form an inverted 'V' shape

  • Distinct and no multiple iron lines


Footwear


Boots

  • Only HQ issued boots to be worn

  • Entire boot should be polished to 'mirror shine'. First priority is toecap and heel.

  • Only long pure black socks with no logo to be worn

  • Socks should be visible at top of boots

  • Boots should be free of mould

  • Boot laces to be parallel to each other and not overlap

  • Excess boot laces to be tied using chain knot and neatly tucked into socks

  • Boot polish used should be Pure Black Kiwi Shoe Polish

  • Instant polish is STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED


Other attires & general standards


Half Uniform

  • Top is replaced with ACNP Polo Tee Shirt

  • Shirt to be tucked in

  • Standards for rest of uniform remains same and unchanged


PT Kit

  • ACNP PT V-Neck Shirt to be worn with pure black track pants

  • Shirt to be tucked in

  • Size of logo on track pants should not be bigger than 5cm in diameter

  • Pure white socks with no logo to be worn. STRICTLY NO ANKLE SOCKS

  • Pure white shoes to be worn


No.1 Uniform

  • HQ-Provided Tunic to be worn instead of navy blue uniform top

  • Ceremonial pants to be worn instead of navy blue uniform trousers

  • Pure white gloves to be worn

  • No iron lines allowed

  • Pure white shirt to be worn under tunic

  • No altering of tunic is allowed unless it is reversed when returned back - no permanent alter

  • Collar lapels to be pinned upright and 1cm apart from each other

  • Buttons:
    5 big buttons at the front of tunic
    1 small button on each breast pocket
    3 small buttons on each sleeve
    Buttons to point downwards in the correct direction


General Attire Standards

  • Hair to be natural colour, STRICTLY NO DYEING OF HAIR.

  • Cadets with spectacles are required to wear spectacle hooks

  • No coloured contact lens

  • No decorative accessories (necklace, bracelet, ear studs) unless of religious significance

  • Nails to be trimmed short

  • Timers of squads are required to wear a watch. No other cadets are allowed to wear watches.

  • Hair should be trimmed and sloped on back and sides

  • Fringe should not touch eyebrows

  • Facial hair to be shaved

  • Length of sideburns cannot exceed half of the ears
