Financial Assistance Scheme

Eligible Singapore citizens can receive financial assistance from MOE on fees and other school expenses.

For secondary school students, these include:

100% subsidy of school and miscellaneous fees
Free textbooks and school attire
Meal subsidies that pay for 10 meals per school week
Public transport subsidy of $21 per month or up to $252 per annum

For students who have successfully applied for FAS

The General Office at Zhonghua Secondary School will inform you on the collection of the letter for the purchase of textbooks and uniform. Please bring along the approval letter if you have applied via your primary school or the sibling's school.

For students who would like to apply for FAS

You can apply online. You will need to log in via Singpass at https://go.gov.sg/moe-efas

We will contact you once it is approved. You should not purchase any textbooks or uniform until the application is approved.

You can call the school's General Office at 6282 4339 and look for Ms Mages if you need further assistance.
