In YIJC Art Club, we aim to create a relaxed and inclusive environment where members will be able to share, create and appreciate art together.

Joining Art Club will allow you to express yourself freely in different ways. You will be able to unleash your imagination as you explore the various mediums of art that exist, such as clay, charcoal, and even coffee and tea, in order to make something with your own unique touch and creativity.

Our CCA sessions are a time for you to relax and have fun after a long school day. Within a peaceful environment, you will be able to communicate with your fellow members, make new friends with similar interests, and engage in doing collaborative pieces like outdoor sketching or even pointillism. You will be able to learn teamwork and communication skills, and foster a deeper sense of aesthetic appreciation as you become exposed to how others around you view the world through their own creative lenses.

Not only that, you will also be able to engage in Values-in-Action (VIA) projects that allow you to develop your planning skills and critical thinking. You will be able to contribute back to the community using art, and become more confident in your skills. Art Club also hosts Art Exhibitions where you will be able to showcase your art pieces to the rest of the school, improving your presentation skills as you guide your peers through the displays.
