Purpose : to describe and share information about oneself 

Audience : Friends and teachers 

Task Description 

In order to complete this assessment task you will be required to make an “All About Me” Scrapbook. Your scrapbook will contain a range of in class activities that your teacher will help you with. These will include: 

• Who am I? (an activity about your likes, your dislikes, your family, your hopes and dreams)

• What makes me, me? (an activity about the influences on your sense of self) 

• Change and challenge. (exploring the skills that each of us have for dealing with change and challenge) 

Assessment Criteria: 

Students will be assessed on their ability to:  

• Complete each component of the scrapbook to the best of their ability. 

• Describe and analyse the factors influencing their sense of self, through their scrapbook pages. 

• Use a variety of sentence patterns, writing conventions and a range of vocabulary in their writing.

Holistic Rubric

A : Outstanding

Extensive knowledge, understanding and skills are displayed through a response which: 

• Presents a very high quality scrapbook complete with all pages required by their teacher. 

• Describes and analyses the factors influencing their sense of self to an excellent standard. 

• Uses a good variety of sentence patterns, writing conventions and an excellent range of vocabulary in their writing. 

B : High

Through knowledge, understanding and skills are displayed through a response which:  

• Presents a high quality scrapbook complete with all pages required by the teacher.  

• Describes and analyses the factors influencing their sense of self to a high standard.  

• Uses a good variety of sentence patterns, writing conventions and a good range of vocabulary in their writing. 

C: Sound

Satisfactory knowledge, understanding and skills are displayed through a response which:
