REFLECTION DAY 2
REFLECTION DAY 2
Before this, I thought that all projects given to pupils, such as making posters, scrapbooks, and presentations, were already examples of PBL. However, after learning more about PBL, I realised that those activities were only ordinary project work.
I learnt that in real PBL, learning happens during the project, not only at the end. The project is not just an extra activity after teaching. Instead, the project itself becomes the learning process. Pupils learn new knowledge and skills while working on the project.
I also learnt that the most important part of PBL is the driving question. A driving question helps pupils think, explore ideas, and solve problems. Before this, I usually asked pupils to complete tasks without giving meaningful questions to guide their learning. Now, I understand that good driving questions help make learning more active and interesting.
There are many digital tools that we can use in PBL.
