Masonic Scholarship of Missouri

The Masonic Scholarship Fund of Missouri, Inc. proudly offers three different scholarships for 4 Year Undergraduate degrees to Missouri high school students. We are now offering a 2 year scholarship for Community College attendance!
These scholarships are available to students graduating this year from a Missouri high school, seeking to attend an accredited institution or higher education anywhere.
Application must include:
High School transcript (including test scores such as SAT, ACT, etc.) and, if you are now enrolled in college, a transcript of your college record through the most recently completed semester, quarter or similar term.
A typed essay of 300 to 500 words stating why you are applying for this scholarship and what are your future goals. You do not need to mention for financial reasons, we understand the costs with college.
A list of prior school activities, awards, offices held, and honors (high school and college). This must be separate from your essay.
A list of all community and volunteer activities within the community. This must be separate from your essay.
A short list of any extenuating circumstances you may have. This must be separate from your essay.
A list of newspaper publications to which you would like to have a news release sent if you are selected for a scholarship. Please include address, telephone number, FAX, and email.

Phynx Fiber Scholarship
DEADLINE: March 1st, 2024
Amount: $1,000
Each Applicant must:
1. Be a graduating high school senior.
2. Be a US Citizen
3. Be a dependent of a Phynx Fiber customer in good standing since October 1, 2023 through time of award.
4. Be accepted by an accredited two or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school.
5. Have at least a 2.0 grade point average (GPA).
Each Applicant submit:
1. Submit a Complete Application
2. Submit a 500-800 word essay on the following subject: How would your life be affected if you didn’t have access to the Internet?
3. Proof read your essay before submitting.
4. Submit two letters of recommendation – only one may be from a teacher, counselor or other educator.
5. Submit 7 semesters of transcripts. Transcript does not have to be an official copy.

Terms and Conditions:
1. All applications will be reviewed, and awardees will be selected by a Phynx Fiber committee.
2. Scholarships will be awarded on a one-time basis and will not be renewable. Scholarships can be deferred for 1 year.
3. Awards will be paid upon proof of registration at an institution of higher education and will be issued in August 2024.
4. Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender or disability.
5. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

INFORMATION FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
All applications require the same essay. A student can write the essay once, fill in the application once, and make copies if he/she qualifies for more than one scholarship. All LMS applications may be mailed in the same envelope. Only one transcript per student is needed.
All six scholarships use the same application form.

must demonstrate qualities of good musicianship, citizenship, and scholarship

preference given to students with special needs that are moving on to higher education or job/life training

ASTRA - Karen Berding Service Scholarship

Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship

Amount: 7, one time $1,000 scholarship
Eligibility:
Should be planning to enroll in a full-time course of study leading to a major in a field related to banking

Resume of extracurricular activities
MUST be signed by an officer of a Missouri Bankers Association member bank

Applicants must enroll as a full-time student at a MOACAC member post-secondary institution. List of member institutions is posted on the application website.

Wayne Dunwoody Memorial Agriculture Scholarship Application
DEADLINE: March 13, 2024
The Randolph County Board of Realtors will be awarding two (2) $1500 scholarships and one (1) $500 scholarship in the memory of Wayne Dunwoody. The application must be submitted, and mailed to:

MAMIC Scholarship

The following are eligibility guidelines to be considered for the MAMIC HIGH SCHOOL Scholarship :
Candidate must be a graduating high school senior living in Missouri.
Candidate must be attending a Missouri high school.
Candidate must have successful admission to a college, university, community college, or vocational school in Missouri.
Candidate must submit the MAMIC High School Scholarship application with a copy of high school transcript and photo by Tuesday, March 15, 2024.

The Missouri Mutual Insurance Companies Scholarship

Each year, The Missouri Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (MAMIC) awards 24 - $1000 scholarships to graduating Missouri high school seniors planning to attend a Missouri college, university, community college, or vocational school. In addition, MAMIC also awards 1 - $1000 scholarship to a current college student. Attached you will find a flyer that briefly details these scholarship opportunities. ALTRUSA International Foundation Scholarship

Machens Drives Education
Eligibility:
(a) Legal Missouri residents over the age of fifteen years old, at the time of applicant submission.
(b) Scheduled to enroll in an institution of post-secondary education during the 2023-2024 school year.
(c) Have a 3.0 grade point average, or the equivalent in any school or program that does not routinely issue grade point averages, at the time of submission of their application. Each student must nominate themselves, but have a school sponsor that can attest to their application for validity. Employees of Joe Machens Automotive Group and members of their families are not eligible to participate as sponsors or students. “Family” is defined as parents, step-parents, siblings, step-siblings, and the spouses of each of them.
Scholarships to be Awarded:
Joe Machens Automotive Group will award one Joe Machens Drives Education Scholarship each month between September 2023 and June 2024 for a total of nine (9) scholarship awards (each a “Scholarship”). Each Joe Machens Drives Education Scholarship will consist of exactly $2,500.00, which will be paid directly to the institution during the 2024-2025 academic school year. There is a limit of one (1) Joe Machens Drives Education Scholarship Award per family. Taxes of any type associated with the award of a Joe Machens Drives Education Scholarship are the sole responsibility of the awardee.

Eligibility Requirements:
Senior at one of the following local area high schools: Cairo, Huntsville, Macon, Moberly, or Salisbury

High school program and course of study preparing for technical occupation (Stronger consideration will be given to students specializing in technical skills applicable to power plant operations, including but not limited to: electronics, electricity, technology, heavy equipment operator, mechanic, machinist, welding)

Wayne Richards Scholarship

This scholarship is for graduating seniors who have previously been diagnosed with a chronic and/or life threatening illness and received care at MU Health Care's Children's Hospital.

Too Cool to Pay for School

Paying for school can be stressful. That’s why we decided to make it super easy and fast to enter this $1,000 scholarship!
How it works: The “Too Cool to Pay for School” scholarship is part of our contribution to helping students save money for higher education. The scholarship can be used to cover education-related expenses such as tuition, textbooks, housing, technology, and other fees. To apply, simply enter your info into the form and cross your fingers - it’s as easy as that. The winner of the scholarship will be determined by random drawing and then contacted directly and announced on this page. For additional information, read the official rules.

Foster Care to Success Scholarship

AWARDS $2,500-$5,000 based on a combination of need and merit
RENEWABLE Up to five years if the student remains compliant with program requirements
ELIGIBILITY Applicants must:
Have been in public or private foster care for the 12 consecutive months leading up to and including their 18th birthday; OR have been adopted or placed into legal guardianship after their 16th birthday; OR have been orphaned for at least one year at the time of their 18th birthday and not subsequently adopted
Be under the age of 25 on March 31 of the year in which they apply if they have not previously received scholarship funding from Foster Care to Success
Have been in foster care or orphaned while living in the United States. U.S. citizenship is not required.
Have been accepted into or expect to be accepted into an accredited, Pell-eligible college or other postsecondary school
NOTE: This is an undergraduate scholarship only.
Insurance Professionals of Mid-Missouri

Eligibility Requirements:
