Make Music Day - St. Louis planners are conscious of the fact that musicians, as much as they love making music, also need audiences, and a means of securing their livelihood. We underscore the need for everyone to spread the word about where each of our musicians will be on June 21st so that there is a return on the valuable investment of each musician's time for these events which are free and open to the public. Through the efforts of many musicians and volunteers who work without financial compensation - we are able to offer St. Louis not only an unparalleled celebration of the making of music, but generate momentum toward the prospect of future income for our musicians. We rely on EVERYone to help spread the word to support this unique community gathering of artists, musicians venues and audiences
