This master list of resources is an excellent compilation of resources, benefits, and discounts available to AmeriCorps members serving in Minnesota. Some of these resources are mentioned above, but there are plenty more available here!
If circumstances require, the Alliance will grant up to $200.00 to AmeriCorps members in the case of an emergency. Those who fit the eligibility criteria can use this form to request financial assistance once per service term.
An applicant is eligible for financial assistance if they:
Are actively serving as an AmeriCorps member with Minnesota Alliance With Youth.
Have completed an application and provided documentation verifying the need for financial assistance before any funds will be issued. Documentation can be in the form of a bill, letter from landlord, estimate from mechanic, including an explanation of the hardship. Funds will be issued directly to the vendor.
