What a fun and exciting week we had in our classroom! We started with a visit from the Sailing Center, where students learned about weather and how different types of weather are formed through fun and entertaining experiments. It was a wonderful hands-on experience, and we’re excited that she will be visiting again next month to help us build our own weather instruments. We also enjoyed a trip to the UVM Women’s Basketball game, where students had a great time cheering, watching an amazing team in action, and enjoying the experience together.

Another highlight was a special visit from Mrs. Dolan’s daughter, who taught us all about her job at Ben & Jerry’s. Students loved learning what goes on behind the scenes at the famous ice cream company, and they especially enjoyed the sweet treat she shared with us.

Back in the classroom, students are hard at work learning about Google Slides and practicing their typing skills as they put the finishing touches on their weather phenomenon reports.

In specials, students are having a blast learning the ukulele in music and performing gymnastics tricks in PE, showing off their growing skills and confidence.

Overall, it was a week full of learning, fun, and exciting experiences. We’re so proud of all the hard work and enthusiasm!
