Tawni Barlow oversees health and wellness for the Medical Lake School District, including nursing, 504, special education and mental health services. Tawni grew up in Medical Lake and is passionate about advancing education effectiveness by interconnecting school mental health and school-wide positive behavioral supports. She is an advocate for systems that ensure the “whole” child is supported.

Rachel Lawson ensures local, state, and federal compliance regulations & standards are met for Special Education. Her work is paramount in supporting students, families, and staff meet high standards and expectations. Rachel is a proud mom & grandma. She finds joy in serving the district & community as a member of the Wellness team. She excels at seeing the person behind the struggle and works hard to ensure others feel valued and their needs are met.
Alita Crosby is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and works to increase awareness & accessibility to mental health services. She supervises the clinical interns providing mental health support in the schools and community. Alita understands that without the proper attention to social, emotional, and mental health needs, a person may struggle to excel in other areas of their life. As a mom and the wife of a teacher, supporting well-being in schools is her heart's work.

Lindsey McIntyre is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a strong background in both community and school-based mental health supports. In her Peer Specialist role with the district, Lindsey will be facilitating Substance Use and Suicide Awareness education and prevention to students, caregivers, community members, and staff. Additionally, with her clinical expertise, Lindsey will help expand access to mental health services in the Medical Lake community.
