The following glossary is a compilation of Spanish-language slang terminology previously encountered in Law Enforcement audio files. Most slang terms are from Mexican Spanish, but the glossary also includes terms from other countries and regions. Each term includes a suggested translation, an example of the term used in context, and notes (if applicable). The Glossary is constantly being updated, with new terms added on a regular basis. If there is an important term that you think should be added, or if you would like to offer a correction or a change, please email us with that information (see Contact Us).
