Students will be provided one pair of headphones, but are welcome to bring their own from home. Many students prefer this, and I recommend not using earbuds as they get easily tangled. 

*If students do not take care of the provided pair (frequent wire twisting and chewing), you may be asked to send in another pair.

Scholastic Book Club

Studies have shown that the more books children have in the home, the more successful they are in school! Scholastic Book Club offers very affordable books. In addition to the paper fliers (cash only) that will be sent home throughout the year, you can also buy online (K-12 books are available) using a credit card. Each time you buy books, our class also earns bonus points which allows us to buy more books. *You may notice that our Scholastic wishlist contains a lot of diverse books. In an effort to raise cultural awareness, I am collecting book donations from the community for our entire school and other schools in our school district.
