The Early College Program is a collaboration between Yuba College and Marysville Joint Unified School District (MJUSD). Students who successfully complete this program will earn an Associate in Science (A.S.) in Social and Behavioral Science in addition to their high school diploma during their four years at MJUSD. While this is an exciting opportunity, it is also a challenging program that requires dedication from students and families.
Why join?
The MJUSD Early College Program offers many benefits to students who participate. Students are able to receive support and resources to help ease the transition to college. In addition, the Early College Program reduces both the time and cost of a college education. Early College students earn transferable UC and CSU college units and learn to navigate the college experience with the support needed to ensure success now and in the future. Early College students are more likely to continue enrollment in college and earn a college degree after high school.
