EDUCATION

I graduated from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with emphasis in teaching and my minor in Adapted Physical Education.

Then I went to California State University, Chico, to earn my California Teaching Credential.

and THEN....I got my Masters in Education in Kinesiology from Dallas Baptist University, in Dallas Texas.

FAMILY

My family is so precious to me. I grew up with my brother and my parents in Oroville, Ca. My parents still own and live in the house that we grew up in. I grew up on a small ranchette where we had plenty of dogs, cats, chickens, cows, goats, a rabbit, a horse, ducks, geese and even my hairless dumbo eared rat :)

I have one younger brother, he is married and has two aDORABLE children. I love spending time with them.

And of course...the fur-family. Odies is my fur-brother and he is the BOSS...then there is my little guy Tucker. They are best pals!! Tucker is my baby and I love him so...get ready for lots of photos of my boy!!

ACTIVITIES

I have many activities that I like to do to stay fit and they have changed over the years. I don't have too many photos of my daily/weekly activities but...I do workout at 5am in the morning - and no one needs a picture of me at 5 am :)

I also have ran a couple half marathons and fun 5 k's. I enjoy skeet shooting and being on the lake! I enjoy Kayaking and boating and just any water sports in general. I also go horseback trail riding and you will see a photo of me and Cowboy the horse.

I also go on hikes on Saturday mornings (with my dog) with some friends and we enjoy being outdoors in nature.

I also enjoy being at my home and getting my hands dirty in the garden. I have fruit trees, numerous succulents and lots of houseplants...it's border line obsessive :)

TRAVEL

Ahhhh...one of my most favorite things! Since I was very small I have had the privilege of being a world traveler. I love to go ANYWHERE new and it can be near or far. Here are some recent photos of my travels to Jamaica, Mexico, Belize, Alaska, San Francisco and Fort Bragg.

I hope you all get the chance to travel too. I love to see new places, new landscapes, new climates, new people and hearing new languages. I have my mom as the best travel buddy around.

I hope some day to travel to Australia, and back to Europe on a cruise!
