Did you know that West Virginia is ranked #45th in the nation for education quality? Recent studies depict our home as one of the least education states in America. Outwardly, WVU represents our top students in the state, boasting our R1 Research Status as well as the numerous other education accolades. However, as we all as students have been accepting into the university, we all have come from a variety of different backgrounds. Well over 10,000 WVU students are from in-state, yet not all had equal opportunities to get here.
