STUDENT LAB

The WVU Center for Applied Coaching and Sport Sciences Lab is made up of students in CPASS's Kinesiology (Coaching and Teaching Studies) doctoral program, Coaching and Sport Education master's program, and Coaching and Performance Science undergraduate program who work on research and community outreach projects.

Doctoral Students

Marla Gladstone

A second-year doctoral student, Gladstone earned her undergraduate degree in Business and Society at York University in Toronto and her master's degree in Coaching and Sport Education from West Virginia University. She has been coaching men's basketball for about 18 years. Currently, she works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the College of Physical Activities and Sports Science. Her research interests focus on studying female coaches in male dominated environments.
