The content was derived from peer-reviewed studies, systematic reviews, and professional guidelines. Literature searches were conducted across databases including WVU Libraries, PubMed, ASHAWire, Google Scholar, and Google, using targeted keywords such as DTTC, PROMPT, ReST, AAC, and CAS treatment (see Figure 1). Articles were screened for relevance, and only empirical, peer-reviewed intervention studies were included. Reviews, protocols, and non-empirical sources were excluded.
