The students collaborated to create a Maya Corn Warrior scarecrow to be transported to and displayed at Our Table Farm in Sherwood.
Each Friday, students learn or practice a new watercolor technique. Once a month, we put them together in a larger project like this month's crocodile/alligator made of wet on wet, salt texture, and wax resist techniques.
Fifth grade has partnered with 2nd grade again to do weekly Book Buddy time.
We are building connections through sharing stories. As the year progresses, we'll do science experiments, recess games, and art projects as well.
