Reclassification for Students with Disabilities 

Our dually enrolled students (Special Ed and EL) are held to the same ELPAC expectations as general ed students. If the student is able to take the Star 360 and CAASPP, the student will take the Summative ELPAC  and the criteria for reclassification is the same as it is for general ed EL students. 

However, a special ed student who qualifies for the CA Alternate CAASPP assessment (CAA) automatically qualifies for the Alternate ELPAC as well. The criteria remains the same, with the exception that they need to score an overall 3 on the ELPAC.
