Hello Parents
🚗 Fourth Grade Car Wash – Next Week!
Our Fourth Grade Car Wash is scheduled for next week, and we are still in need of a few more parents and students to come out and help us raise money for our Austin Field Trip by volunteering to wash cars.
If you are available to help, please sign up below. Every volunteer makes a difference, and we truly appreciate your support!
This week, students will be taking district assessments, CBAs, in both reading and math.

Enrichment Calendar & Gym Reminder
Please make sure you are checking the Enrichment Calendar daily so that your scholar is prepared for each enrichment class. All students are required to participate in gym unless a parent note or doctor’s note states otherwise. Please remember that enrichment classes give conduct grades at the end of each six weeks, just like core classes. If your child does not participate in P.E, the letter below will be sent home and 5 points will be deducted each time they do not participate.
Please make sure your scholar is dressed appropriately for gym on their scheduled gym days. If you would like to keep an extra set of clothes and a pair of shoes in your scholar’s backpack in case you forget, please feel free to do so.
Car Riders: New Traffic Update‼️
Car Riders
All car riders will be dropped off and picked up at the gym. The direction of traffic has changed. See the new school map above.
To keep pickup fast and efficient, please:
Hang your car tag on the rear-view mirror so staff can read it easily — do not place it on the dash.
Stay in line and in order until you get a thumbs-up from the staff member entering car tag numbers. If your tag can’t be read or isn’t entered in order, your child’s name won’t appear in our dismissal list. You will be asked to exit the line, circle the school, and re-enter the line.
Remain in your car at all times.
Ensure your child can buckle independently. If they need help, please park in the back and use the walk-up pickup area.
Be patient — following steps 1–4 will make dismissal faster for everyone.
If you do not have your tag, you will be directed to the front office, where you will need to show a valid ID before your student can be released. We understand this may be an inconvenience at times, but safety is our top priority.
Parent Walk-up
It is our school’s policy and safety procedure that all families walking up to pick up their student must have their car rider tag with the student’s name and number. These family members will WAIT at the front of the school beside the marquee. Students will be dismissed at 3:40 p.m. once the buses have exited the premises for assure all students safety.
Early pick-up ends at 3:00 P.M.‼️
If you try to up your child after 3:00 PM (for example, at 3:10 PM), the front office will turn you away as it is now apart of our policy due to traffic.
Walkers
If your student is a walker, they will be dismissed at 3:40 p.m. when all of the buses have exited the premises and some of the traffic has subsided. Mrs. Hicks will walk Holland walkers to the firestation (right side of school) as normal. If your student is walking to the left side of the school, a teacher will walk them to the marquee to be dismissed.
