Parent/Guardian Request for Counselor: If you would like for your child to see a counselor, please email me or call the front office. My email is tracie.vickery@misd.org and the phone number where I can be reached is (936) 276-4600. You can request to be transferred to the counselor, and if I am not available please leave a message with your child's name included in the details. I return calls within 24 business hours or less (I try my best to get back with you the same day). If you would like to fill out a referral form and send it to school with your child (or drop off at the front), please access the form HERE.
Parent/Guardian Request for Assistance: If you would like to request assistance for school supplies, clothes, food, or shoes, please fill out this form by clicking here. You will also need to fill out an application online to ensure your child receives assistance for school meals. Find out what your child is having for breakfast or lunch by going to the online MENU.

Clothing Assistance: MISD Community Services utilize the MUMC Children's Clothes Closet and the Montgomery County Community Assistance Center: Clothing Voucher Program. You can also check out Hope's Resale for help with clothes or furniture.

There is also a wonderful service called TCHATT, which are FREE counseling services by a mental health professional. See the flyer for more info. Medical Assistance: The Family Express Clinic on HWY 105 across from April Sound offers $25 office visits (nurse practitioner), $50 is medication is prescribed, school physicals and $10 immunizations. You can find medical and dental help at Interfaith of the Woodlands.
American Heart Association: There are many resources on this website to encourage healthy habits for your child. These include the "Life's Essential 8," Mental Health and Well Being, Stress Management, and overall Healthy Habits. Everyone should be knowledgeable about the dangers of Fentanyl.
