Read Bible text beside typed, handwritten, or sketched notes. Keep highlights, bookmarks, searches, folders, and journals organized without streaks, advertisements, subscriptions, or Scripture paywalls. Your Word adapts across phones, tablets, foldables, portrait, and landscape layouts, with stylus support on compatible devices.
Bible translations
KJV, WEB, and ASV are bundled for offline use. Additional properly licensed online translations are supplied through YouVersion Platform, with publisher information displayed in the reader.
Privacy summary
Your Word stores Bible notes, journal entries, handwriting, sketches, highlights, bookmarks, folders, app preferences, and imported personal Bible files in the app’s private storage on your device. Mîrakæl Studios LLC does not receive this private Bible data.
Manual backup and restore uses the platform’s system document picker. On Android, a backup can be written to a location you select, including your own Google Drive. Mîrakæl Studios does not operate a backup server and does not receive these files. Backup files remain under your control and are removed through the storage provider you selected.
Accounts are optional. When you create an account or sign in, Firebase Authentication processes information needed to provide and secure the account. Depending on your chosen method, this can include a name, email address, Firebase user ID, provider identifier, IP address, authentication user-agent information, Firebase application ID, and device or app metadata. Available methods may include email and password, Google, Apple, and Facebook. Provider passwords are entered directly into the provider or Firebase flow and are not stored by Your Word.
The optional Firebase identity does not synchronize your notes, journal entries, handwriting, sketches, highlights, bookmarks, folders, or backup files.
Your Word uses YouVersion Platform services to request approved online Bible editions. These requests use the application’s YouVersion App Key and standard network information. Your Word does not contain advertising, analytics, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or developer-operated tracking.
DELETE YOUR WORD ACCOUNT
Your Word accounts are optional. You can permanently delete your Firebase Authentication account from the Android app:
1. Open Your Word: Bible Journal.
2. Open Account & Sync from the reader toolbar.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Read the deletion notice and confirm your identity with your password or sign-in provider.
5. Select Delete Account again.
The Firebase identity is deleted after successful confirmation. If you used Sign in with Apple, Your Word also asks Firebase to revoke the Apple-issued access token.
Request deletion without the app
Email support@mirakaelstudios.com with “Your Word account deletion” in the subject, the email address associated with the account, and whether you used Email, Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in. Never send your password. Mîrakæl Studios may need to verify account ownership before completing the request.
What account deletion removes
• Your Firebase Authentication user ID
• The display name and email stored with that Firebase identity
• The connection between the Firebase identity and the selected sign-in provider
What account deletion does not remove automatically
Your notes, journal entries, handwriting, sketches, highlights, bookmarks, and folders are stored locally and are not attached to the Firebase account. They remain on the device unless you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app. Manual backup files remain wherever you placed them, such as Google Drive, until you delete those files there.
