When you look on the product page for the correct color swatch to use in your design file, sometimes previous swatch names will be used.
This is where the Wedding Letterpress Color Bible is helpful. You can match the previous swatch name with the current swatch name.
It has a list of all of our Wedding Letterpress Pantone swatches on the first tab:
The new (current) name of the swatch is in column A.
The Pantone code is in column D.
If there was a previous name for the swatch, that will appear in column G, under Notes.
You can disregard the CMYK values in column E - they are just approximations.
Please disregard the 2nd tab named Wedding CMYK.
Let's look at an example scenario where you would need to use the Wedding Letterpress Color Bible to find the correct swatch to use in your design file.
In the order summary here, the letterpress swatches are listed as Orange and Charcoal.
You go through customizing the design on the product display page,
and notice that the colors there are also Orange and Charcoal.
However, when you open the design file in AI, and take a look at the Wedding Letterpress Pantone swatch library, you notice that there is no swatch named Charcoal.
This is where you will use the Wedding Letterpress Color Bible.
With the Bible doc open, press CTRL + F and search for "charcoal."
It will highlight the word Charcoal, found in column G with the notes for previous swatch names. If you look in column A, you can see that Charcoal is now called Pewter.
So, in your design file, you will use the Pewter swatch (447U).
