Product Kind Description

Translucent vellum overlays add a rich layer of dimension to invitations. Vellum overlays are usually paired with a standard printed invitation card. The vellum card stock itself is tranclucent, with a white undertone.

File setup

The WTP file generated by MBO will have three layers. Please make sure that the “ id:exclude” sublayer is not altered in any way.

This layer simulates the smokey gray color of the vellum paper.

product limitations

vellum is only offered for few SKUs
only offered in 5" x 7"
No white ink

as of 1/19/18, vellum can now be printed in any CMYK value - not only black
however, please limit the colors to darker CMYK values - lighter values do not print well against the light background of vellum
white ink is not possible as it would print clear. Black ink is considered 100% opacity, while white ink is 0% opacity.
