Return Address Printing is available for all of our envelopes.
Recipient Address Printing is available for all of our envelopes except for the A2 size.
Both Return Address and Recipient Address Printing are offered in standard and fancy designs. Standard designs (RAP/RCP) are basic Minted fonts in black ink. Fancy designs (fRAP/fRCP) come with graphic elements, fonts and colors that match the associated card.
Depending on the product kind, there can be quite a few limitations regarding RAP & RCP.
Soft white envelopes, with pointed flaps are included in each order of invitations or RSVP cards. Soft white is the only envelope color option; it is equivalent to our standard square flap envelopes.
Available in black ink only. RAP is digitally printed and not letterpressed.
All letterpress RAP files can be found in the LPI folder in product files.
General Rule:
RAP doesn't always come through as a line item, but if it does, we can only edit the fonts/colors if the customer does not have also have RCP selected.
There are two locations on the backer for RAP:
Stamp Size: Note that the guidelines generated for the (bottom) RSVP RAP portion don’t include the safety area around the stamp. Please be aware of this and leave plenty of room for the stamp.
Envelope Flap: The RSVP RAP lines cannot be too long, otherwise it will be visible when the AIO is wrapped up into an envelope.
General Rule:
In most situations, we cannot edit or move the RCP, because it's part of automated printing.
Cards with postcard backers give customers the option to select Recipient Address Printing. This will generate a text box with placeholder text in the design file. DO NOT edit or move the RCP text box in any way, as this will cause an error at print.
Since postcards are sent through the mail without an envelope, it is important to accommodate postal regulations. There is a no print area that covers portions of the bottom right corner of the card that cannot have any design elements on it whatsoever.
If the customer opts to remove RCP post order, simply delete the RCP text box in the .ai file and use the "Remove RCP [workaround]" note template (from mntd.space):
If the customer chooses Designed RCP (fRCP), the envelope logo is placed in the lower-right corner of the back flap of the envelope where a Designed Recipient Address is used.
