Basketball Camp

Coach Dennis James brings high energy, strong leadership, and a deep passion for player development to the court. A former collegiate athlete at Daytona State College, he draws on his playing experience to shape his coaching style, focusing on skill-building, discipline, and game IQ.

Over the past four years, Coach James served as the Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Family Christian Center Schools in Clermont, FL, leading the program to three state tournament appearances, including capturing the 2022 State Championship. Before that, he was the Head Assistant Coach at West Orange High School, where he played a key role in the team’s success, including a District and Regional Championship and a Class 9A State Final Four appearance in the FHSAA.
