Captain Isaac Anderson/Senior
On team since 9th grade

I want to be a captain which fully embraces leading in the image of God, and pushes people past what they think is possible. I want to be a humble skier, who thrives in servant leadership, and pursues transformational relationships with team members. My goals for the team are to work hard, have fun, love each other, and grow the nordic family. I encourage skiers to keep working, even when it gets tough, and find the balance between competition and love.

Captain Jack Calvin/Junior
On team since 6th grade

As a captain, I want to encourage my fellow teammates to bear the image of Christ through joy and kindness.  Additionally, I want to create an environment where hard work is encouraged and recognized.  I'm excited to lead my fellow skiers this year!

Captain Greta Lemmons/Junior
On team since 7th grade

As a Nordic captain, I believe my purpose is to help create an inclusive environment for skiers of all levels and ages, and to set an example of being hardworking and dedicated. I want to help the team be a place where we have fun and enjoy each other, but also push each other and work hard. To achieve this, I will try to be an example of giving 110%, keeping a positive attitude, and being encouraging and supportive of my teammates.

As a captain, I aspire to lead by example, demonstrating dedication and resilience while creating a positive and inclusive environment. I aim to be approachable and encouraging, helping every teammate feel valued and foster strong connections among us. Ultimately, I hope to inspire our team to reach our full potential by facing challenges with perseverance and unity.

I want to lead by effort — honoring God with how I train and how I treat people. When it hurts, I’m locked in, and I want our team locked in with me. We’ll work hard, back each other up, and grow stronger together every day. Above all, my goal is that people see God’s glory working through me and impacting the team around me.

As a Nordic captain, my goal is to create a fun and engaging environment for skiers of all levels and to set a good example of what it looks like to have fun while working hard.  I also wish for everyone to feel comfortable and that they have a place on the team this year. I hope to capture the image of God through my leadership and to shine the love of Christ through my involvement with the Nordic community. I will try to achieve these goals by staying inclusive and supporting others and keeping a positive mindset throughout the season.
