The local regulations allow for Mindspace workplaces to operate as usual, which means that Mindspace is available and open 24/7. All of our spaces have strict preventative measures in place. We are ensuring that there are regular deep cleanings of all offices including; door handles, lift buttons and all common areas. Extra soap and hand sanitizers are in all of the common areas and are monitored and regularly refilled. Members of the Mindspace team are on-site and are happy to assist with any needs you may have!

The UK Government’s response to coronavirus (COVID-19), announced in the Chancellor’s Budget 2020 speech and subsequent briefings, includes measures to protect businesses from the economic impact, with all of the UK’s businesses now facing a more challenging year. Although the information on these measures is currently limited, the main measures announced include:
A cash grant of £10,000 for small businesses with a Rateable Value of under £15,000
A 12 month rate-free period for all businesses in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors
A cash grant of £25,000 for those in the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors above

Announced 31st October 2020 - The Prime Minister has confirmed that the Furlough Scheme will be extended to the end of 2020.
The Chancellor has set out a package of temporary, timely and targeted measures to support public services, people and businesses through this period of disruption caused by COVID-19
The UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has launched a dedicated business support helpline, where small business owners in England can get advice on how to minimise/cope with the impacts of coronavirus. Support for businesses through the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme, including the full rules of the scheme and the list of accredited lenders, are available on the British Business Bank website.
Case-by-case arrangements for businesses and self-employed people in financial distress, and with outstanding tax liabilities, are administered by HMRC (dedicated HMRC helpline is 0800 0159 559). If you cannot pay your tax bill on time, you can find more details on the government page.
Mortgage borrowers can apply (directly from lenders) for a 3 month payment holiday. Both residential and buy-to-let mortgages are eligible. Interest will continue to be charged on the amount they owe and didn’t pay.
Administered by the HMRC, grants to self-employed individuals and partners in partnership of 80% of their historic profits capped at £2,500 per month (Income must be negatively impacted by Covid-19). Only applicable if trading profits are less than £50,000 per annum and more than half of total income comes from self-employment.
In addition, the Mindspace team is working closely with our Business Rates Agent, Colliers International, who will be aiding us to secure Small Business Rates Relief for your offices, where this is applicable. This should aid our members further by being able to apply for the £10,000 grant offered by the UK Government.
The Mindspace Management Team have undertaken an initial Risk Assessment for each London location and will now proceed to implement the management of the risks we have identified.
