The local regulations allow for Mindspace workplaces to operate as usual, which means that Mindspace is available and open 24/7. All of our spaces have strict preventative measures in place. We are ensuring that there are regular deep cleanings of all offices including; door handles, lift buttons and all common areas. Extra soap and hand sanitizers are in all of the common areas and are monitored and regularly refilled. Members of the Mindspace team are on-site and are happy to assist with any needs you may have!

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, the government is doing everything it can to protect the jobs and incomes of as many people as possible and to keep the economy running smoothly. A range of emergency financial schemes for employers and self-employed people are in place.

Two of the temporary measures are the Temporary emergency scheme for job retention (NOW) and the Temporary self-employment income support and loan scheme (TOZO).

Temporary emergency scheme for job retention (NOW)

If you employ staff and expect to lose at least 20% of your turnover, you can claim a grant towards your wage costs under the NOW. You can claim a maximum of 90% of your wage costs, depending on how much turnover you lose.

Temporary self-employment income support and loan scheme (TOZO)

The TOZO offers support for self-employed professionals such as sole proprietors, self-employed people with no employees (‘ZZPers’), partners in a general partnership or owners of a private limited company (‘DGAs’) who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the Coronavirus crisis.

The government has announced specific measures to control the spread of coronavirus. The measures are based on urgent recommendations by the Outbreak Management Team. They will come into effect at 18:00 on Sunday 20 September 2020.

The measures apply to the six safety regions that are currently seeing the sharpest increase in coronavirus infections. These are Amsterdam-Amstelland, Rotterdam-Rijnmond, Haaglanden, Utrecht, Kennemerland and Hollands Midden.

3 general measures apply to all 6 regions:

Establishments with a catering licence must bar guests from entering and stop all music at midnight. These establishments must close at 01:00.

Groups of more than 50 people are banned. This means, for instance, no parties, receptions or outings for groups of more than 50 people. This restriction applies both indoors and outdoors. There are some exceptions, such as demonstrations, religious gatherings, funerals, and dance and theatre.

Organisers of gatherings of more than 50 people must notify the authorities beforehand. An example is a public concert in a park. The notification requirement does not apply to, for instance, establishments with a catering licence, religious gatherings, shops and markets, libraries, cultural venues and similar locations where there is a continuous coming and going of visitors.

The 6 regions are also adopting specific local measures.
