The Minden High School Ag program and FFA Chapter strongly believe in students having hands on experiences, diving into topics and projects that interest students, and not always determining a students growth by their grades, but in what they accomplish and learn from being creative and having fun! Our FFA Chapter and Ag classes promote and follow the FFA mission, the Three-circle Model, and the FFA Motto by providing students with projects and experiences that can positively impact their learning and their future.
FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
Agricultural Education is based on a 3-circle model. It includes classroom, FFA, and SAE. All members are required to have a SAE (Supervised Agriculture Experience) that allows students to take what they have learned in the classroom and FFA and implement it. Agricultural education is designed to teach students, engage in leadership, and implement their knowledge.
