8th grader, Juan Delgado, published his first book, "Whispers in the Hollow". Ms. Anderson, our librarian, shared the book with English classes in grades 6-9 during Library visits and about the publishing process with a focus on Copyright and technology. Our 6th grade newspaper club members wrote a review of the book which can now be found in the "past book review" in Student Opinions

Advice:
Absorb all the info you can. It's okay to wait and not know what you want to do right away for college. Make sure the college you want to go to caters to your degree. Just learn and build good habits. Say yes to every opportunity you can. With hard work and a strong mindset, you can beat those preconcieved stereotypes that are set about us minorites in our current society.Whatever you do after high school, enjoy it. Go see the world, make friends, create memories. Be open minded! Try everything you possibly can now to find what you like. Be yourself! Get involved now! Don't be afraid to do what you want. Don't stress too much abotu where you are in life right now, and even in a few years. High school does not define your entire future, and it is okay to grow apart from people. Enjoy your time, you will miss these years when you are in the real world
