Specific College/University Based Scholarships & Aid
Most colleges and universities offer their own scholarships (free money that does not get paid back) in addition to financial aid (free money in the form of grants, money you pay back in the form of loans, and work study opportunities based on financial need as determined by the FAFSA). It is important to research each school's scholarship/financial aid web pages in order to know what is required from students and families. Some institutions have different deadlines for scholarships than for admission. Some automatically consider students when they apply. Some require additional essays and other components. Be sure to check each school's website!
