★ Try BOX BREATHING!
Imagine a box shaped like a perfect square. Each side equals a count of 4.
Breathe in for 4. Fill your belly and torso as full as you can.
Hold here for 4.
Breathe out for 4.
Empty your belly and torso as much as possible. Your belly should really push out. Hold here for 4.
Start over until you feel your racing thoughts calm and your mind settle.
Gratitude, which is simply expressing appreciation and being more thankful, has many benefits to your mental and physical health.
