One Act Play and Literary:

This will be Miss Bri's seventh year coaching one act play and literary, with this year being her fourth year coaching both at MCHS. The One Act Play Team works in the fall semester to put together a play to compete at the region competition. The winning team from each region goes on to compete at the state level. 

Spring literary consists of multiple events pertaining to the arts. The events are broken down into the categories of music (singing), writing (essays), and speaking (drama and speech events). The first place contestant of each individual competition goes on to compete at the state level. Each competitor from our school at region and state are eligible to earn points for their team to earn the school an overall placement at both meets. 

In the last three years, the one act play and literary teams have earned one region runner-up title, one state runner-up title, first place in six region events, one region champion title, one runner-up in a state event, and two champion titles in state events.
